A Tasted Cuisine
Sustainability

At A Tasted Cuisine We use locally sourced ingredients which reduce the carbon footprint associated with transportation and supports local farmers and producers. We also opt for organic produce and sustainably sourced meats and seafood. This supports environmentally friendly farming practices and reduces exposure to harmful pesticides and chemicals.

Additionally, we minimize food waste by planning menus carefully, using leftovers creatively, and composting organic waste. We also donate excess food to local food banks or charities. We invest in energy-efficient appliances for our kitchen to reduce energy consumption such as refrigerators, ovens, and stoves.

At ATC we avoid single-use plastics such as straws, utensils, and containers. Instead, use reusable or compostable alternatives and opt for cooking methods that require less energy, such as steaming or stir-frying, and avoid excessive packaging or processing. We educate our clients about the importance of sustainability and how your practices contribute to a healthier planet and encourage them to adopt sustainable habits in their own lives by incorporating more plant-based dishes into our menus. At ATC we use Plant-based foods generally to lower environmental impact than animal products.

We partner with local businesses and suppliers that prioritize sustainability in their practices. We try to stay informed about developments in sustainable food practices and continually seek out ways to improve our sustainability efforts and by implementing these practices, we can effectively incorporate sustainability into our work while also making a positive impact on the environment and your community.
