The Fine Print Behind Fine Dining
1. Services.
1.1. Meal Preparation: We offer personalized meal preparation services tailored to your dietary needs and preferences. Our chefs will work with you to create delicious and nutritious meals in the comfort of your own home.
1.2. Catering Events: Whether it’s a small gathering or a large event, we provide catering
services to make your occasion memorable. From menu planning to on-site food preparation and service, we handle every aspect of your event’s culinary needs.
1.3. Additional Services: We may offer additional services from time to time, which will be
subject to these Terms of Service.
2. Booking and Payment
2.1. Booking: To book our services, please contact us via phone or email. We will work with you to schedule your desired service and discuss any special requirements.
All bookings to be made at least 48 hours in advance of the desired booking date and time. Any bookings made within 48 hours of the desired time may not be accepted.
2.2. Payment: Payment for our services is 85% at the time of booking and 15% balance paid upon arrival. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment as specified on our website or agreed upon in writing. Kindly note we don’t accept cheques.
2.3 Booking fee: At A Tasted Cuisine, we operate on a structured engagement model to ensure precision, quality, and dedicated attention to every client.
To initiate custom menu planning and secure a formal quotation, a KES 2,000 non-refundable Commitment Fee is required.
This fee:
- Confirms serious booking intent
- Covers menu development and event costing
- Is fully credited toward your final invoice
- Is non-refundable
Kindly note that customized menus, quotations, and date reservations are only processed upon receipt of the commitment fee.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
3.1 Client Cancellations
Due to the nature of advance planning, sourcing, staffing, and preparation required for our services, the following cancellation terms apply:
- Cancellations made 3 or more days prior to the event date:
The commitment fee/deposit is non-refundable but may be credited toward a future booking within 30 days (subject to availability). - Cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the event date:
The full 50% deposit is non-refundable, as preparations, ingredient procurement, and scheduling would have already commenced. - Cancellations made within 24 hours of the event:
Up to 100% of the total event fee may be charged.
3.2 Cancellations by A TASTED CUISINE
In the unlikely event that A Tasted Cuisine must cancel a confirmed booking due to unforeseen circumstances, the Client will be notified immediately and issued a full refund of all payments made.
4. Liability
4.1. Food Allergies and Dietary Restrictions: It is the client’s responsibility to inform us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of booking. While we will make every effort to accommodate your needs, we cannot guarantee that our meals will be allergen-free.
5. Amendments.
5.1. Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. It is your responsibility to review these Terms of Service periodically for updates.
